How to find out battery backup time
Friends, today we will tell you how to find out the backup time of inverter battery. There are two ways to extract battery backup time. Today I will tell you both these methods and then later we will extract the battery backup time of the bulb with the help of a numerical.

First way-->
We considered that:
Inverter load = 300W
Battery voltage = 12V
Battery current rating = 150AH
Step 1 :- First of all we should know their discharging current. Discharging current means how much current was used to discharge the battery 100%. so :-
Discharging current = Inverter load / Battery voltage
Discharging current = 300W / 12 v
Discharging current = 25A
Step 2 :- After found the discharging current., now we have to know how many hours it will take to charge the battery 100%. so :-
Battery hours for 100% charging = Battery in AH / Discharging current
Battery hours for 100% charging = 150AH / 25A
Battery hours for 100% charging = 6 hrs
That is, it will take 6 hours for our battery to be fully charged. But according to thumbrull we always go by counting 80% discharging time.
Backup hours for 80% charging = 6 X 80%
Backup hours for 80%charging = 6 X 80 /100
Backup hours for 80% charging = 4.8 hrs = 4hr 48min
That is, the battery back up time of 300W inverter load is 4hr 48min. This means that if the load of our inverter is 300W then our battery will run last 4 hours and 48 minutes.
Second way-->
We considered that:
Inverter load = 300W
Battery voltage = 12V
Battery current rating = 150AH
Total battery backup time calculation = battery current rating X battery voltage X number of batteries X efficiency of battery / total inverter load in watt
: - We will always count the efficiency of the battery to 80% so ----
Total battery backup time calculation = 150AH X 12V X 1 X 0.8 / 300W
Total battery backup time calculation = 4.8 hrs = 4hr 48min
That is, the battery back up time of 300W inverter load is 4hr 48min. This means that if the load of our inverter is 300W then our battery will run last 4 hours and 48 minutes.
Numerical--->
We have a battery with a voltage of 12V and a current rating of 150AH, and if we are lighting a 100W bulb with this battery, how long will our 100W bulb burn.
Solution-- According to the question:-
Bulb load = 100W
Battery voltage = 12V
Battery current rating = 150AH
Total battery backup time calculation = battery current rating X battery voltage X number of batteries X efficiency of battery / total inverter load in watt
: - We will always count the efficiency of the battery to 80% so ----
Total battery backup time calculation = 150AH X 12V X 1 X 0.8 / 100W
Total battery backup time calculation = 14.4 hrs = 14hr 24min
So on a 150AH battery our one 100W bulb will burn for about 14 hours 24 minutes.
